Computer Beep Codes

When we start the computer we hear a sound which is called as beep. This beep has importance because this beep tells about computer error codes. The beep varies for different error following are the beep type with error code for Ami Bios
One Short Beep means System OK
Two Short Beeps means first 64 KB of memory has Parity error
Three Short Beeps means Memory failure in the first 64 KB
Four Short Beeps means Memory failure, Operational of memory or Timer 1 on the MBD is not functioning properly
Five Short Beeps means the CPU on the MBD generated an error
Six Short Beeps means the keyboard controller error. The BIOS cannot switch to protected mode
Seven Short Beeps means the CPU generated an exception interrupt
Eight Short Beeps means the system video adapter is either missing, or its memory is faulty
Nine Short Beeps means the ROM checksum value does not match the value encoded in the BIOS
Ten Short Beeps means the shutdown register for CMOS RAM failed
Eleven Short Beeps means the external cache is faulty
One Long three Short Beeps means Memory Problems
One Long eight Short Beeps means Video Card Problems
And Following are the beep type with error code for Phoenix BIOS
In this 1-1-3 means one beep then pause then again one beep then three beeps
